The Quest for Artificial Intelligence [In Review]

In recent years, the idea of machines taking over the world has been ingrained into our culture through the use of science fiction. Through the imagination of movies like “The Terminator” and “I, Robot,” we have sensationalized an image of what we could possibly see in our future. Today, our society has the confidence that, in the future, we will live in a world where humanlike robots are a prevalent feature of everyday life. It would seem that with all the technological advances we have produced, we should already have a robot with the capability of artificial intelligence. The truth is we are no where close.
